Chemical peel add-on

Service Description

Enhance your spa experience with the chemical peel add-on. Chemical peels can be used to treat wrinkles, acne, discolored skin, and scars - usually on the face - by revealing newer, undamaged skin. I have different Circadia peel options, and will determine which to use after doing a quick skin analysis and consult at the beginning of your appointment. After receiving the peel: ● Clients can expect mild to heavy peeling for about a week, DO NOT PICK OR PEEL AT THE SKIN ● Minimal sun exposure during the healing process ● Apply SPF each day ● Do not cleanse skin for 12 hours following the peel ● Do not put face directly under hot shower ● Do not use jacuzzis, steam rooms, or saunas ● Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive sweating ● Do not use any scrubs, mechanical forms of exfoliation, retinoid acids, AHA's, BHA's, or astringents until the skin has healed You are unable to receive the chemical peel add-on if any of the following apply to you: ● Use of Accutane®, Retin-A®, or other medications that exfoliate or thin the skin within 6 months ● Recent cosmetic surgery, laser resurfacing, deep or medium depth chemical peels or dermabrasion ● Severe rosacea or acne ● Easily scars or has hyper-pigmentation tendencies ● Pregnancy – always consult with your obstetrician prior to receiving chemical peels ● Breast-feeding ● Sunburn or irritated skin ● Open sores or lesions ● Infectious disease ● Active Herpes simplex ● Diabetes ● High blood pressure ● Heart disease ● Deficient immune system ● Permanent cosmetics–wait 7 days then cover with occlusive barrier
